Mason and the Giant
By: ElevenGrainBread
After soccer practice Mason decided to take a run along the path near
the soccer field. the other players left earlier but he decided to
excercise more for the game the next day. A lot was expected of him
and he knew he needed to clear his mind. he ran along the familiar
path picking up speed and saw in the distance a grouping of trees he
never ventured to run in before. as the forest got closer he decided
to go off the path and enter. "what harm could it do to try something
new he thought" as he passed the first tree and heard the quaking
sound of the leaves around him.
"Waaaaarrrrrgh!" the giant moans, yawning and stretching expansively
above the treetops. The ground shakes as he thuds ponderously into
the clearing, trying to remember where the blasted stream is. "Ugh.
It feels like a family of owls nested in my mouth while I was
asleep," he says. Small pebbles tremble and dance as he moves onward,
into the clearing, toward where he thinks the stream is. "Ah! There
it is!" he thinks as he catches sight of the smooth ribbon of cool
water. With more great thumping, he strolls over and stops in front
of the babbling brook. Crouching down, he wets his hands and washes
them in the flowing water. He then cups them, and lifts them,
dripping, to his tree-trunk lips, and he greedily drinks the water
down. He does this several more times, until satisfied. "Ah,
refreshing!" Smiling to himself, he inhales deeply through his nose,
taking in the sweet forest air. He pauses abruptly, and sniffs again;
there is something different to the air. He inhales again, taking in
the scent. A wide smile crosses his face. "Hmmm... smells like
breakfast." He crouches down near the stream, lower than the trees--
though someone of his stature is rather difficult to hide in earnest.
Mason runs between the thin tree trunks and jumps nimbly over the
thickets imagining each trunk and thicket an opposing team member to
dodge in the next days game.. "this is great practice for me. i
wonder why i never thought to train in the forest before. and it is
so peaceful and relaxing" He runs and jumps deeper into the forest
reaching a point where there is a bit of a clearing and to his
delight a brook! Perfect timing he thought as he cups his hands to
quench the thirst he spent all morning developing.
The giant blinks, and stifles a chuckle. It would seem he is not the
only one at the stream today. Through the trees, he can make out the
form of what seems to be a young male. A human from the looks of
it. "Well well", he thinks, "Haven't seen one of those in a while..."
As quietly as possible for one his size, he leans over the tiny
human, his huge head, throwing even more shade over him. As friendly
and jovial as possible, he says: "Why, hello there."
"AHHHH!!!" he shouted as he turned around and noticed that there was
in fact a giant standing directly in front of him. He stood in shock
and disbelief as the words "uh, hi" muttered from his trembling lips.
Discretely he looked from side to side to quickly map out an escape
route, but the overwhelming sense of paralysis was overcoming his
sense of flight. he thought to himself Am I dreaming? he tried to
feel his feet touching the ground just to make sure he was awake. As
he did so he noticed a 5 foot wide grin form on what looked like the
mouth of a giant.
The giant blushes furiously, turning beet-red. Moving his head back a
bit, to seem less daunting, he says: "I'm terribly sorry. I didn't
mean to startle you." Though he really knew there wasn't any way to
go about it without startling the human. "It's alright, I won't hurt
you." This is true; though there is a bit more to it than that. "Odd
that you've ended up here..."
"I have never been this way before" he says still with trembling
lips " I don't think I belong here so I really think I should be
going home." Noticing the giant moving a bit closer he slowly backs
up and can feel the cool water of the brook making his cletes wet.
hoping the giant will advise he asks " what direction will take me
back to the path?
The giant scratches his chin thoughtfully. With a deep sigh, he
says: "I'm sorry, but there's no path around here. Just lots and lots
of trees. And squirrels, lots of squirrels..." he trails off, as if
he doesn't really like them much. He raises an eyebrow. "You know,
they always seem to show up here by some means like that. A trail, a
road, or a gate. Never do figure out a way back, though." He
shrugs. "Sorry I can't help you."
Feeling a bit more bold, he states " Well I know i came from that
direction" his right hand pointing in the opposite direction of the
giant's mass which by now was shading the sun from him
completely. "So I guess I will just head back that way. " He looks at
the giant and notice that his _expression was a bit different. feeling
uncomfortable he says "Thank you for all you help and kindness.
Perhaps we will meet again"
The giant smiles, chuckling. "I'm sure we will," he says, shaking his
head. He always does end up meeting them again, shortly after they
get terribly lost. It just doesn't seem to be the nature of this
place to ever let them go home. They always give up, and end up,
well... food. "It's a shame the only things around here to eat are
people," he thinks. "But... you've got to eat."
Mason smiles back holding back the uncontrollable urge to run faster
than he ever has before. He turns to the right and starts to walk
away. With in seconds his walk becomes a sprint.
The giant chuckles as the young man begins to run off. "Yep, most of
them do that too..." He waits patiently, planning to follow if his...
acquaintance goes too far. It's not as if he can get away, really;
despite his human appearance, the giant's sense of smell is more akin
to that of a wolf. Sooner or later, the human would stop. The giant
can wait; he doesn't need to feed all that often.
He nervously dodges tree after tree jumping over the thickets in
between. he tries to pick up speed but it seems that no matter how
fast he runs, he gets more lost. The forest becomes darker and more
unfamiliar. He feels a sense of relief as the bubbling sound of the
brook diminishes, but then he realizes despite getting away from the
giant he is tired and still lost. He spots a fallen log and decides
to hide until he can catch his breath and his bearings.
"Hello again," a familiar voice booms from above. "I told you this
place wouldn't let you leave," he says. He had been following the him
the whole time, keeping just out of viewing and hearing range. Now
that he has stopped, it seems as good a time as any to get down to
business. "You're stuck here, and you're not going to get home.
There's no civilization, no food, no people--except me--and a whole
lot of nothing else." He does not yet give away his true intentions,
however.
Startled by the giant's deep voice which he could nearly feel through
his bones. Mason leaps up like a rabbit away from the log. He lands
on his feet but is cornered by three immense oak trees behind him and
the giant in front of him. Not knowing what to do he decides to make
a bit of idle conversation in order to develop a new escape
plan "What do you mean i am stuck here. No one has ever made it back
home" he says
The giant laughs, a sound much like the beating of a large
drum. "This place isn't quite... it's hard to explain..." he says,
frowning. "It's real, but at the same time, it isn't real."
Shrugging, he adds: "I wasn't always a giant. In fact, I'm probably
not a giant, except here."
Even though he is feeling afraid Mason's curiosity is a bit peaked. "
what do you mean you are probably not a giant? What else could you
be?" Thoughts race through his head as he tries to conjure more
questions.
"I was a normal-sized human being, at least proportionate to
everything else where I came from. One day, I fell asleep, and I woke
up here, as I am now. I searched and searched, and tried any number
of trick, but I never did find my way back," the giant says. "Others
came, but they were smaller, like you." He smiles at mason and looks
at him in a rather unnerving manner, as if sizing up a meal.
Fearfulling looking up a the giant and his odd _expression mason
offers some reasoning "Mr Giant. The fact is I HAVE to go home. I
have a soccer game tomorow and I am the goalie. If I'm not there the
team will lose for sure. You must know a way out!"
The giant gives him a thoughtful look. "Well, there is a way back.
But I don't think you'll be very happy with it," he says. "You see...
the only way back is through... me." He blushes again. "I don't know
how or why this is so, but it would seem that things have been
arranged this way by forces beyond my comprehension." He swallows
audibly, feeling somewhat nervous; he knows this is the part where
they freak out. "You see, I have to eat you."
"You have to WHAT!. EAT me! ..... uh I dont know ... wont that hurt
and wont I DIE! " he asks the giant. "There has got to be another way
back I think I will just walk until I find it" "besides, I probably
taste HORRIBLE. I am sure there are plenty of other TASTY creatures
in the forest"
The giant shrugs. "They never accept it..." he mutters. "It won't
hurt. At least, I don't think it will. The others passed out before
anything painful could happen." He blinks, having forgotten some
important details. "Oh! See, I'll swallow you whole. No chewing. I
couldn't stand hurting someone like that. And I know they go back.
Two of them returned later." He smiles nostalgically. "They actually
said they liked it. Wanted to do it again." His _expression turns
serious. "The only other creatures I can even see are squirrels. And
they're just rats with bushy tails. Not to mention the size of flies
to me. Would you eat a fly-bushy-tailed-rat-creature? Hmm?"
"THEY CAME BACK!?!? the teen said with ebrows high. Suddenly he felt
a little less scared and sorry for the giant. "Squirrels are a bit
annoying." He chuckles, " One ran away with my soccer ball once if
you can imagine that"
Hesitantly he asks " Are you sure your not just trying to trick me
into becoming your next meal?"
The giant rolls his eyes. "Would you believe me if I said yes?" he
says. "They did come back, of this I am absolutely sure. One of them
had wandered here through a back alley. He told me he woke up in his
bed, at home, safe and sound afterward. The other said he was hiking
in the mountains, and ended up here looking for water. He says he
woke up next to a stream, back in the mountains. They made it back
fine. I imagine the others did as well; in fact, I'm sure of it. I
can sort of... feel it. When they leave their bodies behind." As he
says this, he makes it sound like the most amazing experience there
is, and the glimmer in his eyes shows that he at least believes it to
be the truth.
Mason thinks briefly and states "So they did become a meal and so
would I if I agree." After looking at the giant and the sincerity in
his eyes he says "But you seem very hungry and need to eat, dont you.
And you have been so polite to me" He thinks some more and
says "Allow me to ask you this: What if I refuse?"
The giant shrugs. "I wait until you either agree, or something else
comes along."
The teen shrugs back " I can't miss that game.... Okay then"
Slowly, the giant reaches down toward the boy, huge hand soft and
pink; obviously, this giant isn't lying about his origins. Gently, he
cups his fingers around the boy. "Now, make sure you are ready. It
wouldn't do to have you go into shock or anything like that. I don't
want you uncomfortable."
A bit apprehensive about what is going to happen the boy says " i
think i am ready, is there anything i need to do?"
"You may wish to disrobe. No real sense in wearing your clothing for
it." He seems to pause for a moment, then lets out a loud
guffaw. "Though I can't guarantee you won't wake up on the other side
in your birthday suit. Though none of the others mentioned it, so I'd
assume you're safe. This is probably just a dream. A very vivid
dream..." He stifles a sigh. "One from which I can't awaken..."
The boy sees the sadness in the giants eyes and expressions. He can't
help feeling sorry for his loneliness in the forest and those damn
squirrels with their antics. He takes off his cletes one by one,
peals off each sock from the knee down to his foot and roles them off
his feet. his pull off his red nylon shorts. as he pulls off his
jersey the number 5 crinkles to an undicernable shape. he drops the
clothing on the forest floor and states " i have an extra uniform at
home." Mason stood there naked in front of the giant. His muscular
legs, chest, arms, back, and stomach fully revealed and shaking from
the chilly air and nervous feelings,. He states " Ooo it is a bit
cold out here."
The giant raises his other hand and waggles a finger. "That, my
friend, will soon change." And with that, he gently takes the teenage
human in hand, and begins to raise him. Bringing the young man to his
face, he says: "Now, do you want to take this head or feet first?"
His hot breath cascades over the small person in his grasp; oddly, it
isn't all that unpleasant. Rather mild, really.
The boy immediately feels warmed by the giants breathe. He feels more
and more secure, and strangely excited by the second. As he thinks
about the answer to the giant's question he begins to realize that he
will miss the giant. He tells the giant "Feet First"
The giant nods. "Very well, then. Good luck, and thank you." He opens
his mouth wide, displaying an impressive set of well-cleaned teeth,
and a huge pink tongue. His mouth glistens with saliva, from his lips
to the bobbling fleshy uvula above the darkness at the back of the
throat. Slowly, he sticks out his tongue, and brings his hand to his
mouth, angling it so that the human's back is level. Opening is hand
and tilting it upwards, he lets the small human slide into his mouth,
onto the soft, spongy surface of his tongue.
Mason's body tenses with residual bits of fear. He watches the supple
lips of the part revealing the giants teeth. as he gets lowered
closer to the giants mouth he can feel the giant's warm exhale. He
watches as an enormous long pink tongue sticks out of the giant
gaping mouth. The boys feet touch the touch first. Then his legs
beome slippery with saliva. Slowly and gently he slides down the huge
tongue into the giants mouth. The warm wetness of the saliva and the
sponginess of the giants tongue send sensations though all of the
muscles of his body. He senses the giant's euphoric state and obsorbs
some giant's sadness and dispair simultaneously.
He slides the boy the rest of the way into his mouth, reveling at the
taste (that tiny bit of fear just enough to add a little spice) as
the smooth flesh moves across his tongue. When mason is all the way
inside, he slowly closes his mouth, leaving the young man in hot, wet
darkness. Suddenly the massive tongue lifts up, gently pressing the
contents of the giant's mouth against his hard palate. It ripples in
waves under his body, turning him over several times and thoroughly
coating him in warm drool.
In the darkness mason's sense of touch amplifies. He feels warm wet
drool all over his muscles from head to toe. As he is manuevered from
side to side by the caring muscular motions of the giant's tongue. he
could hear the muffled sounds of the giant enjoying his meal. He no
longer cared about the soccer game or anything back at home. He just
wished he could stay in the giant's mouth forever and was so happy to
become the giant's meal.
The boy couldn't stay in his mouth forever, though. The buildup of
drool, and the spread of the small human's flavor all over the
giant's tongue made it very difficult to fight the natural urge to
swallow. Still, he can tell the "prey" is enjoying himself, so holds
out a bit longer, working his soft tongue over the teen's body
slowly, eking as much flavor out of it as he can. Finally, he can
resist no longer. He tilts his head back, letting the boy begin
sliding into his throat, and swallows. The fist swallow pulls mason's
legs into the esophagus, a tight muscular ring wrapping around his
hips, pulling at him.
After a long period of gentle wrestling with the giants tongue, the
mason began to realize that the giant's hunger was growing. He felt
the angle of the giants head tilt back and the he felt a slipping
sensation on his back along the giants tongue. Although it was pitch
black in the giants closed mouth mason knew that it would get even
darker now that he was slipping down the giants throat. He could here
the distant rumbling of the giants stumach and wondered how it would
feel to slide down and rest inside
The giant swallows again, sending more of the mason's body into his
eager throat. Strong muscles grip him--now food--all the way up to
his shoulders, leaving only the head above. Everything below is
tightly pressed into a soft, slippery tunnel, which undulates,
pulling at him, trying to send him downward. As more saliva builds
around the opening, the giant swallows one final time, and suddenly
the small human slips into his throat quickly, finally released by
the opening of the esophagus. Peristaltic motions push him down,
slowly, rungs of muscle seeming to flow by and caress his body as it
makes the journey downward. The giant rubs the outside of his neck
softly, feeling the bulge as it passes under his hand.
mason feels a bit nervous and completely relaxed at the same time. it
is a feeling he has never felt before. as the tightening muscles of
the giants esophagus unguf each part of his body like a snake his
motions become limited. Before in the giants mouth the texture of the
tongue's taste buds tingled his warm wet body. Now he is realizing
that he has a first hand "look" of the "business" end of eating. The
esophagus completely captures the rest of his head rendereing him
nearly motionless. He feels a gentle pressed on the arch of his back
that is different then the peristaltic motions of the throat he is
sliding down. he realizes that is one of the giants huge pink fingers
stroking his back as if to sadly say goodbye. he tries to respond but
does not want to stretch the giant's throat muscle to cause him pain.
And the lump in the giants throat passes down, into the giant's
chest. He feels mason's movement as he slides down; it tickles
slightly. He finds himself laughing softly at the feeling, sending
waves of sound and motion through his body. Soon, he feels the
sphincter at the top of his stomach open, and his "meal" beginning to
slide through. Throat muscles push the young man down, down into the
center of the giant. The beating of the giant's massive heart
resonates through the flesh around the boy, a strong, but relaxing
thump-thump, thump-thump, thump-thump... There is a brief resistance
as the teen nears the end of his journey, but soon the stomach opens
up, ready to accept the incoming food. First the legs, then waist,
then chest slide into the hot, wrinkled chamber. Then, with a squeeze
and a pop, the rest of his body is sent into the digestive organ.
Masono's arms and head are still above and then suddenly he falls
accidentally kicking and bumping what seemed to be the wall of the
giants huge belly. He lands on the gentle bed of the stomach floor.
he stretches out his hands to so that the giant can see and feel him
happily moving inside of him. after some more playful massage of the
giants belly the boy lies on the warm moist stomach floor.
In the strong heat of the stomach, Mason feels himself getting sleepy
he doesnt want to leave the warmth of being inside the giant.mason
feels himself becoming strangely lighter, as if trying to float away
from his body. Stomach walls move, churning at the body within. But
by the time the digestive juices really start working, he should be
gone. As with before, it is at this time, not long after entering the
giant's stomach, that the... consciousness of the "victim" begins to
depart, returning to wherever they came from, leaving only the husk
behind; empty, but filling, and nutrient-rich. Before this can occur,
he rubs his belly one last time, feeling the movements of the person
within. Never really do get used to that, he thinks.
The giant sighs, half in contentment, half melancholy. It was good
that this one enjoyed it, and accepted it. And he did enjoy it a bit
himself, really. Still, he wishes he could wake up too, some day. he
walks off into the forest, stomach gurgling contentedly, beginning
the reduction of its contents to useable substances.
Mason suddenly wakes up back in the soccer field. he notices that
squirrels have once again taken off with his ball. he chased them
thinking, I will be training in the forest from now on...
The End
